One of the tall tales told about the Arlington is that an exact copy of our Club was built in London and then destroyed in bombing during World War II. But could this be really be true?

Doors Open Day this year was a bit different from usual; instead of welcoming hundreds of people though the doors we had to go online!

Archibald McKellar, Second World War flying ace

The Arlington Baths Club War Memorial displays 39 names from the Second World War. One of those is Archibald McKellar, who is still remembered today as a Battle of Britain fighter pilot, and the first to shoot down an enemy aircraft over the British Isles.
