This year we’ll be focusing on a project to discover more about the Baths during the First World War to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of the War.
We’d like to know the stories behind the names of the men on the War Memorial and the experiences of others who served or were involved in the Home Front.

What was daily life like at the Baths at this time? What were the experiences for the women members? What was the impact on the staff?
We’ve also joined the Centenary Partnership at www.1914.org run by the Imperial War Museum.
It publishes articles and features about World War One topics and an events calendar with events, exhibitions, walks, talks and workshops planned to commemorate the Centenary.
Any events we hold or resources we produce will be shared with the Centenary Partnership.
We’re looking forward to finding out more, and hopefully by November we’ll be able to share the stories we’ve uncovered as widely as we can.
